Education Above All wins five W3 Web Creativity Awards

The Education Above All website, created by Digital Transformation Agency Emakina for the Education Above All Foundation EAA,  received no less than five 2014 W³ Awards. This global competition honours creative excellence on the web.


Besides Gold Awards for the best ‘Home page’ and for the category ‘Social Responsibility’, it swept away 3 Silver Awards, for ‘Visual appeal’, ‘Non-profit’ and ‘Education’.

The website has already won the prestigious ‘Website of the Day’ label, awarded by the CSS Design Awards.

Education Above All (EAA) is a global initiative founded in 2012 by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser of Qatar. Emakina combined lightness of design to service the rich content with advanced technological solutions in this long page website.

The result is an emotional, immersive experience delivering fast access to all programmes, news, stories, partners and background information.


The W³ Awards recognizes the people behind award-winning sites, marketing programs, social content, mobile site/apps and online video. In its ninth year the W³ Awards received over 4,000 entries. It is sanctioned and judged by AIVA, the Academy of interactive and Visual Arts, a global invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from acclaimed media, interactive, advertising and marketing firms.
